How It Works

Buzport provides multiple convenient ways to make cheap international calls with a device of your choice – mobile phones, landline, VoIP phones, instant messengers, and even Twitter.

Step 1. Tell us who you want to call. Simply dial the number from your mobile phone or landline.

Step 2. Buzport will call you back within a couple of seconds and connect you to the other party.

That’s it.

The Callback Process:

Our proprietary callback process eliminates unnecessary costs typically associated with making international calls, and assures you only pay for the connection and at the lowest available rate.

This process is the backbone of our service and presents a technological advantage over other providers, making Buzport an extremely fast and user-friendly solution, saving you both time and money.

So here’s the breakdown of how it works:

1. First you make the call, and a request is sent to Buzport to connect you to the other person. You could use any device – mobile, landline, VoIP (soft or hardware), instant messenger, etc…

In addition to that, the request can be sent to our server in a variety of ways – from our site, SMS, short data connection from mobile, call-in number, Twitter, etc…

Buzport makes it easy by automatically selecting the most efficient method based on the device you have.

So it’s as simple as dialing any other number.

2. After you hang up, within seconds our server calls you back.

3. At the same time when you pick up, the server calls your destination number.

4. Your call is connected.

It’s important to note all this is done simultaneously, so the process is very smooth and there’s no time delay.

By the way, because Buzport calls you back, it’s considered an incoming call making it free or very inexpensive, depending on your mobile plan provider.

Here’s a simple illustration.

How Buzport Is Able To Provide Much Cheaper International Calling Rates Using Internet and VoIP

Using the internet and VoIP (Voice over IP), significantly cuts the cost of your call, and when you couple that with Buzport callback technology, you get the maximum savings passed on to you.

Here’s an illustration of how it works.

In this example the caller is using a mobile phone to connect to the landline. If a VoIP phone is used, it connects directly to the internet without any gateways.

Using VoIP technology allows you to call anywhere in the world, and only pay for the gateway, saving you a bundle and cutting your rate to an absolute minimum.

So there’s no long-distance service required.

When placing a call, Buzport routes it using the internet to a local phone network. This is done through a gateway which is operated by a local provider.

Because of our vast network of partnerships with local providers around the globe, Buzport is constantly monitoring the fees they charge and the quality of these connections to deliver the best service for the lowest price.

If you decide to place the call using your computer with instant messengers or SIP, strictly using the internet, then you don’t have to tap into the local network and pay any connection fees on your end. This will provide significant additional savings.

And if the other party is using an internet connection on the receiving end, then again you bypass the local network, making the call completely free.

Using this process to make cheap international calls is very simple, everything happens behind the scenes, and is as seamless as all your local calls.
